Ā Testimonials

Thank you for the positive feedback at our meetups! We are looking forward to upcoming meetings.

I enjoyed hearing from other professionals in the field and how we share some common experience across the country as we work with a very language diverse student population.  I enjoyed discussing the case study and look forward to other contributions during future BIG meetings.

Hearing from other individuals around the country and remembering that everyone is confronting similar issues.  I enjoyed hearing people's responses to the case study to get a sense of how others conceptualize assessing English Learners and the problems we face.

I am not bilingual but work in a site that has more than 50% of the students who speak another language. For me, the meetup was helpful to hear best practices, thoughts and perspectives from the diverse group. There were many things I knew already, but I believe hearing the perspectives from those in the same field as me but also from diverse groups really gave me a different awareness.
